The “Register by” column is 15 calendar days before the exam, following municipal notices. MIGRIS shows the exact closing date.
Where it is held
- The exam is taken at base schools (bazinės mokyklos), one or several per municipality. You choose a school in the municipality where you live.
- MIGRIS shows the school’s address, phone and e-mail after registration. NŠA does not publish an open list of addresses for foreigners.
- If your school has no places on the chosen date, you may pick the nearest school in another municipality.
- You will need the school afterwards too: you call it for the result, and it hands out the certificate.
2027 timetable
NŠA publishes the next year’s timetable in December. We will update this page as soon as it appears.
October 2026 news
On 19 October 2026 NŠA reported a possible personal data breach in its own exam registration system (eksternams.nsa.smm.lt) and switched it off temporarily. Foreigners register through MIGRIS, but if your booking for the 10 November session failed, check the status in MIGRIS and ask the school.
